After working for a marketing consultant for 10 years, my wife and I realized we wanted to get into advertising. We both have good degrees, but no experience working in advertising. Our decision to start advertising came from the realization that we had to market our home in order for our kids to get into a good college. Our kids are currently in college and we want to get them to one that offers our type of college.
Our decision to advertise was prompted by a number of factors. The first was that it seemed like an easy way to get our kids into an excellent school. It was easy to show them what our house looked like, how close our neighbors’ houses were, and how much money we had. We also realized that the marketing consultant was right – if we were to get into advertising then our kids would be able to get their college education without a lot of stress.
So we decided to try advertising our house (and to get our children to one of the best schools in the area). We were so excited about the idea of our house being shown to the world so that our kids could get a college education that we didn’t even think it was a good idea to try to advertise the fact that we had to pay $3,000 a year for the privilege of having our house shown to all of the world.
Well, that did not go over well with the marketing department at the local college. They had a lot of concerns about the cost of renting our house to ad agencies to advertise our house, and the fact that we were not renting our house for free. Needless to say, we had to go back to the drawing board. Thats when we decided to try advertising our house via word of mouth.
This is where word of mouth marketing can become invaluable. It’s a very simple way of communicating your message to the world. We didn’t want to rely on traditional marketing methods, for obvious reasons. We wanted to do it in a way that would let us know that a lot of people liked our house, so we would know that people were willing to pay a premium for the privilege of visiting it.
It worked. We had people showing up in droves, and we were able to sell over $5K worth of real estate. And while we dont have many marketing dollars to throw around, we can take advantage of marketing methods that work with people we know well.
We decided to focus our marketing efforts on the sale of our house. We already knew that people were willing to pay for houses, so we wanted to make sure they could see the house first. We were able to do this by doing some social media on our Facebook page and Twitter accounts. We also had a press conference where we showed the house to local media.
This was the best marketing we’ve done yet. The house is very well-known in the Houston area, and people know it’s ours for sale. We were able to get people talking about it before they knew it was ours. After the house was on the market though, we received a call from a realtor who said she liked the house and wanted to re-sell.
We were also able to meet with a few potential buyers. It was a little weird meeting with this one because she was so cold and uninterested.
This is because we were not a real estate agent.We were actually a consultant. We provided marketing services for other people to do it with. This lady was very interested in the house and wanted to buy it, but she was very cold and uninterested. We thought we’d be the reason she didn’t buy it, but we proved to be a bad influence. This lady had a great idea for a marketing strategy and wanted to do it.
