If you don’t have the confidence to do it, you’re also not going to be able to sell your product. There is nothing like a strong brand to go along with strong marketing. And for most of the work you do, you only have a few hours to market a product or service.

It also frees you from having to do the usual “managing to get things done” things. If youre a sales person, you can just ask people what they want or what they think their needs are, and then you can figure out how to sell the product to them.
Its a little like a sales force for marketing. You can get a lot of ideas from the people that ask you what their needs are. What do they think they are, you ask? What do they say they want? There are a lot of great ideas that come out of this process.
