The term “motown” was coined by the music industry to describe the original, non-musical group. It was originally coined by the group’s president Michael Jackson in a conversation with a friend.
Motown was an American music group formed in 1969 in Detroit. Its members were the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder’s sister, Mariah.
Motown is a name that has taken on a lot of different meanings. Originally it was used to describe a group of white musicians who were popular in the early 1960s because they were all white and had no musical aspirations. However, the term was also used by the black media to describe a group of black musicians who were popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s because of their use of the blues and other rhythmic traditions.
To me, this is a perfect example of how people often use a term that has specific meaning, but don’t actually apply it to a specific situation. At the time Motown was being used to describe a group of white musicians, it was also being used to describe a group of black musicians. However, I don’t think I’d use that term today.
As we know, black people are the most prevalent minority group on the planet, and although white people (in general) have always been used to describe the majority of the world’s population, black people have never really been that used to. I believe this is because our group of people has always been seen as being different from the majority. Now, we are being used to describe a group of African Americans.

Black people are now being used to describe us, and it’s a very good thing that we have finally started to use this term to describe ourselves.

But its also used to describe a bunch of white people in America, including in the case of the Temptations, who started a group marketing idea that started a lot of other people doing the same thing. This group marketing idea really went viral and turned into a huge business. Black people are now being used to describe us, and its a very good thing that we have finally started to use this term to describe ourselves.
Motown is a term that came out of the 1970s music scene and has been around ever since. It’s not just black people who are using it, other groups have even used it to describe themselves, including the Temptations. We’re probably the first group marketing idea that’s actually a good thing – and we’re probably the first group marketing idea to actually do some good.
Its become something of a catch-all term for any group of people that are a little more eccentric than what we’re used to. Motown was used mainly to describe a certain area of Detroit, and so forth (I know, I know… Detroit doesn’t really have a defined ‘Motown’ area, so we’re not really talking about Detroit).
Motown was the name given to the area where rock music was produced. As a whole, that can be a negative word, so I’m not sure how we are supposed to be talking about Detroit in the context of Motown. However, Motown was, in fact, a great place for rock music, and the fact that it was a place where people could make some money from music is very relevant to the way we talk about today’s music industry.
