This week I was on a panel in Chicago about social media marketing and talked to our panel. I think the presentation was great and I felt it was worthwhile. However, I think one of the main takeaways came from the panelist that was the most interesting to me. She said that we live in a time where we are all so disconnected from the internet that we might as well be on a different planet.

I think there is a big difference between being on the internet and actually interacting with our friends and families online. Now, I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing. It’s just that right now it’s still pretty hard to make the time to be with them. My point is if you can just connect with people in real life it’s much easier to make more connections in the digital space.

I think the big part of the disconnect is that we have so many different types of online communities where we can all connect in and out of. I know I do. I have a huge family and I’ve met up with a bunch of new friends, but it takes time to really dive in and find that community in Chicago and I think that is a big part of why it takes so long, and why we all have so little time.

The thing that makes Chicago special is that its social circles are diverse and constantly evolving. You can meet up with a bunch of people you’ve only seen on Facebook, and you can meet up with a bunch of people you’ve only seen on Twitter. There is something about being able to reconnect with people who we haven’t heard from in a while.

Social media marketing chicago is one of those things that is hard to get right. On the one hand, it’s a lot easier to get your face into the digital landscape when you have an existing social media presence. On the other hand, some of the smaller businesses in chicago have no time to invest in a social media presence, while some of the larger businesses in chicago have no time to invest in a social media presence, they have too busy.

I think most of the time marketing your business on social media, especially on Twitter and Facebook, is just a waste of time. Social media marketing should be done on your own time, and in your own way.

Good marketers spend a lot of time thinking about how they are going to interact with their clients, and how each interaction will be successful. If you are a social media marketer, you should take this into consideration. The best way to do this is to create your own social media accounts. You don’t have to be a professional account creation tool like HubSpot. You can just start with the basics and build it up if you want.
