So far the site has been a bit of a learning experience for me. I’ve been very hesitant to go on tfc.com, but I think I’m much more comfortable with the site now. I think the reason is because there is a lot of hype and all sorts of “don’t do it” stories when it comes to the forums. I also think, after watching the tfc trailer, that its probably a really good idea to start using the social media accounts.
Well, you can’t begrudge the forum guys some time to spend building up their profile, but it is important to note that the tfc forums have absolutely nothing to do with the main tfc site. The forums are just a place for the community to hang out, discuss, and read tfc news. They are not the place to ask questions or ask for information or look for help or ask for advice.
Also, a quick note about the forums. The tfc forums is a place to ask question, read and discuss tfc news (which is a huge amount of news, but since we are talking about marketing, we should talk about marketing). The forums are not a place to post about how you sold your home. The forums are a place to build up your profile.

If you are a developer that’s interested in marketing, the best place to start is the developer forums, because there are a number of developers that are active on the forums that you can ask questions to.
