Influencer marketing is basically an internet media outlet that promotes an influencer. When you see an influencer on a website, it’s pretty easy to figure out who the person is. If they’re in TV, you can probably figure out their name, but if they’re in print or radio, it’s a different story. So with an influencer marketing site, you can find the person, go to their website, look up their bio, and then click on their link to their website.
It can be a very effective way to reach the people who are online and talking about a certain topic. Some examples are: when I was in college I worked for a university that used to use influencers to promote their classes. So if a professor was doing a great job of teaching a certain class, you could click on his blog and it would lead you to his website. If you liked what he was doing, he would give you a testimonial.
That sort of approach is also useful when you’re trying to get people to buy something that you’re selling. If you have a lot of people in your niche, you can use influencer marketing to create a brand awareness that will bring in people who are interested in your product.
You’ll notice that in the above example, the influencer marketing campaign that helped the professor was for the class that he taught. This is because a lot of people are learning new things, and professors are the people who can provide the knowledge and the time to help them accomplish that learning. Of course, a lot of people are in the process of learning new things because theyre doing a lot of research or because theyre planning on buying something.

Influencers also need to be people with a following – there is a lot of traffic generated by blogs and other social sites that have no following. Most people don’t go to the same blogs that they follow, so they are more likely to see the content from a blog that they already follow.
